You might try building squads of interceptors with scourge missiles and then slave them to a vtol tower which will cause your vtols to attack there when they come in to sensor range and if you can get a vtol tower near there base with out it getting blown up then you would have plenty of time for your vtols to intercept theirs before they get to your base and start to cause to much damage of course this is only reliable against bombers which are slow moving against fighters your vtols might have issues hitting them Unfortunately vtols tend to be a little overpowered and your not the first person to complain about that trouble is that by there very nature there extremely difficult to balance weaken them and they become useless leave them as is and there overpowered and a real nightmare to stop as you have discovered The reason there such a problem is 3 fold as i understand itġ.) large volumes of light bodied vtols a lot of the time are just to fast to hit even though AAA has now been made homing to try and combat this problemĢ.) large volumes of heavy body vtols are just to heavily armored to stopģ.) vtol weapon system tend to be twice as powerful as there land based counter parts which makes them to powerful the problem here though is that if they weren't so strong they would be useless as they only carry limited ammo unlike ground units Unfortunately vtols in this game tend to be something of a problem when they come in large number because even heavy AAA defenses wont stop them especially if they start targeting your AAA batteries as any sensible player would
