I wondered why but probably not important I just thought it was more like ps3 since the console already seems like working PS2 games. With NTFS file compression a file with NTFS compression creation will be created some of your hard disk will be saved but considering the midget size of today standards it will not make any noticeable difference. It as if the plugin creates a new instance of pcsx2 for the game and maintains the default settings and I can not loosen the game from the newly created instance.
